Cookies and local storage

The short version

This site stores one thing in your browser: the contents of your cart. It is kept in local storage on your own device, it is not a cookie, it is not sent to us as you browse, and it identifies nothing about you.

That storage is strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for — keeping a cart between pages — so under the Portuguese implementation of the ePrivacy rules it does not require consent.

What we actually store

The contents of that record only reach us when you deliberately submit an order at checkout. Browsing the site never sends it anywhere.

What we do not use

• No advertising or retargeting pixels.
• No analytics or measurement scripts.
• No social media tracking widgets or share buttons that phone home.
• No fingerprinting, no session replay, no heatmaps.
• No cross-site identifiers and no data sold to anyone.

Fonts are served from this site rather than from a third-party font service, so loading a page does not disclose your visit to anyone else.

Clearing it

Clearing site data in your browser removes the cart record immediately. In most browsers that is under privacy or site settings, per site.

Blocking local storage for this site also works. The site keeps functioning; the cart simply empties when you move between pages.

Third-party content

The card payment page is served by our payment service provider on their own domain, and their own cookie policy governs it there. Nothing they set is placed by this site. See payments and security.

We embed no third-party video, no third-party maps and no third-party comment or chat widgets. The clips on this site are served from this site.

If this changes

If we ever introduce a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent before setting it, and this page will describe it before it goes live. Questions to support@caljofrecalcado.baby. See also the privacy notice.
